Fuiji X-Pro1 Updates

Many of you visit my blog because I use and love the Fujifilm X-Pro1. Well, there is great news today – two new lenses (14mm and 18-55mm zoom) are officially announced on the their web site, together with news of a firmware upgrade due 18 September. You can find all the details here! Personally I can’t wait to get my hands on the 14mm, and the imminent release of a firmware update is good news as well.

By the way, I notice that Corel Paintshop Pro 5 supports RAW files from the X-Pro1. You can get full details and a trial on their site – and at only £60 it may well be worth a trial at least! Personally, I know and love Lightroom so much I will stick where I am, but I am pleased to see another major software house supporting the camera. Competition is always a good thing, and maybe now Apple Aperture and Capture One will catch up!

About Gerry Walden

I am a stock photographer with far more years of experience than I would care to mention. Located in Southampton (UK) I am sandwiched between two national parks and my home town is a major seaport. I shoot mostly people related images, and travel when I can. I am resident photographer at a major concert venue in the town which means I get to shoot a variety of musicians.
